Why no ERE service provider is NEa accredited
The NEa publishes a list of registered providers. The NEa explicitly states this is not accreditation or a quality certification.
So compare providers on facts: service fee, notice period, how the provider reads your charging sessions and when you receive your payout.
// What the NEa says
Registration • not accreditation
Inclusion on the NEa list is a registration, not a substantive quality assessment. Providers remain responsible for correct registration and a proper administrative organisation. Joulo B.V. is on the official NEa list of ERE service providers and is built in line with the RED III framework.

Compare providers on six points
NEa accreditation does not exist, so quality-label language means nothing. Compare the actual terms. For reference: we charge a 20% service fee, contracts are cancellable yearly, and our latest ERE sale (September 2026) returned 12.3 cents net per kWh.
- Service fee • what percentage does the provider keep, and does that cover everything (verification, payout, support)? We charge a 20% service fee.
- Contract term • is the contract cancellable yearly or are you locked in longer? The Wet van Dam allows consumers a fixed term of 1 year at most. Our contract is cancellable yearly.
- Meter data • are your sessions read automatically via API or OCPP, or do you submit them yourself? A photo of your meter is not a valid measurement source.
- Authorisation • the authorisation binds one party per connection (EAN). Check how easily you can switch later.
- Verification • an independent verifier checks the registrations. Ask who carries that cost.
- Payout • how often do you receive your payout, and can you verify it? We pay quarterly and every sale is in our open sales log.

Put the providers side by side
The comparison shows each provider's service fee, notice period and how you supply your charging sessions. Check those points before you sign an authorisation.
