Joulo was founded by two neighbours from Brummen • both entrepreneurs, both Tesla drivers. We saw that the new ERE regulation offers opportunities for home chargers and decided to do something about it.

At Joulo he owns the NEa registration, the audit trail behind every charging session and the data architecture built to withstand regulatory scrutiny. Was at the start of Solarplaza.com, served as smart meter and EV specialist at KPN and co-built energy company ServiceHouse • since sold to Coolblue. At Philips he led the subscription platform (505K subscribers, €40M ARR). Sees ERE credits as the next frontier in democratising financial markets.
