What does Joulo require of my charger or energy contract?

Joulo is brand-agnostic: you do not need a specific energy contract or charging subscription. Your charger does need a built-in MID-certified meter for ERE registration.

What does Joulo cost?

Joulo charges a 20% service fee incl. VAT as standard, with a floor of 10% via referrals. You only pay a percentage on ERE credits that are actually sold.

When is my ERE income paid out?

Joulo settles ERE per quarter and pays out to your IBAN once your credits are sold.

Does this also work with solar at home?

Yes. As with other ERE programs, home-charged kWh measured via charger data is what counts. Electricity origin does not change the measurement logic.

How does the Vattenfall InCharge integration work with Joulo?

For Vattenfall InCharge home chargers a dedicated integration page is available with steps specific to Vattenfall. Joulo automatically imports your charging sessions and MID meter readings for ERE registration. Your Vattenfall dashboard and remote start/stop continue to work as before.

Manual: download and upload

Export your charging sessions from the My InCharge portal and upload the files into Joulo yourself. No integration, no automation • just your own data.

Automatic: on your behalf

You log in once at My InCharge and authorise Joulo to fetch your own charging sessions on your behalf. Joulo never sees your password and only retrieves sessions at your own charger • no public or roaming charging.
