The charging platform behind many home chargers
Monta is a charging platform (CPMS) that manages chargers brand-independently • from app and charge card to smart charging and billing. Many Dutch installers put home chargers on Monta by default. The brand of charger underneath doesn't matter.

Want real-time status in Joulo? Let your charger talk to Monta through Joulo. Joulo forwards every session unchanged, your Monta dashboard stays populated.
Turn your Monta session data into ERE credits
Keep your charger with Monta, earn ERE credits via Joulo. Under the 2026 Regeling energie vervoer, the ERE belongs to the holder of the energy contract on the connection • you, not your platform.
Fully automatic
Joulo reads your charge points and charging sessions automatically through the Monta Public API. No manual uploads, no exports.
You stay in control
The connection runs on your own Monta application. Delete it and access stops immediately. Joulo only works with your explicit authorisation.
MID checked automatically
Monta reports your charger's brand and model. Joulo uses that to automatically check whether your model has a built-in MID meter.
Automatic ERE registration
Joulo registers your charging sessions as ERE's with the NEa and sells them at the right time. Quarterly payout to your IBAN.

1. Create your Joulo account
Signing up is free. Pick Monta in the connect flow.
2. Paste your Monta key
Create an application in portal2.monta.app and paste the client ID and secret into Joulo. Your charge points appear immediately.
3. Start earning
Joulo fetches your sessions back to 1 January 2026, registers your ERE credits with the NEa and pays out every quarter.
