Which Wallbox models work?

Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Max, Commander 2 and Copper SB connect via the Wallbox Cloud, but have no built-in MID meter, so they need a MID upgrade or SAP for ERE. The eM4, eM4 Twin and Supernova have a built-in MID meter and are directly eligible. Check your exact model in the table above.

Do I need the myWallbox app?

You need a myWallbox account, but you don't need to keep the app installed after connecting.

Does Joulo work with Wallbox?

Yes • Wallbox Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Pro and Commander 2 connect through your existing myWallbox account. Joulo imports your sessions automatically. ERE requirement: a built-in MID-certified meter • not every Wallbox variant has one. Check the model on joulo.nl/check-laadstation.

Connect Wallbox charger to Joulo

Can I connect my Wallbox to Joulo for ERE registration? Yes, with the right model. The consumer models (Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Max, Commander and Copper SB) connect via the Wallbox Cloud API with your myWallbox account, but have no built-in MID meter • which ERE requires. Joulo then arranges an upgrade to a charger with a built-in MID meter, or guides you to a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP). The eM4, eM4 Twin and Supernova do have a built-in MID meter and are directly eligible (see the table below).

✓A myWallbox account with a linked charger
✓A Wallbox charger. The consumer models (Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Max, Commander, Copper SB) have no built-in MID meter, so Joulo arranges a MID upgrade or a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP). The eM4, eM4 Twin and Supernova have a built-in MID meter and are directly eligible.

Step-by-step setup

Start the connection

In your Joulo dashboard, select 'Connect charger' and choose Wallbox.

Log in with myWallbox

Enter your myWallbox email and password. Joulo uses these to access the Wallbox API securely.

Select your charger

Choose which Wallbox charger to connect if you have multiple units.

Confirm your MID meter

Joulo automatically checks whether your model has a built-in MID meter. The eM4, eM4 Twin and Supernova do. The consumer models (Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Max, Commander, Copper SB) do not • for those we follow up with a quote for an upgrade to a MID-certified charger or guidance for a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP).

Your sessions will sync automatically going forward. ERE registration starts once a MID-certified meter is in place.
